Soon after I moved into my house in 1994, I built this platform feeder. I put out whole peanuts in the shell and it attracts blue jays and squirrels. Over the years I’ve patiently made friends with some of the squirrels. Sometimes I’ll put out some peanuts, set up a camera with a remote control, and sit in my living room with a cup of coffee and the button.
